I lived nearly 10 years in Italy. I understand the importance and interest in learning a foreign language and understanding the language spoken in the country where you live. I am passionate about connecting people and cultures through communication, this is why I enjoy teaching languages. During my time in Italy, I earned my undergraduate degree at The American University of Rome in Italian Literature, a Masters degree in Women's Studies at the University of Florence, and a second Masters in Italian Studies from New York University La Pietra in Florence.

I have years of experience teaching English as a second language and love teaching Italian, the language of my beloved Italy where I've spent most of my adulthood. My lessons are tailored to meet the needs of my students, ensuring full-engagement, understanding and improvement. My greatest talent as a teacher is understanding how the student learns, so that the students' interests and requirements are met, if not exceeded. I am extremely prompt and use every minute of our time together to its fullest.

Beyond teaching, I am passionate about cooking, wine, and Japanese longbow archery. I am intrigued by everything the world has to offer!
