I have a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from New York University, a Master of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Chicago, and a Master of Arts in Teaching (Elementary Education) from National-Louis University. I taught Arabic in Chicago Public Schools for several years, and I also have teaching and tutoring experience with students from grades 3 through 12 in a wide variety of subjects.
As an educator, my strengths include connecting with students and figuring out what helps them to become interested in what they are learning. Every student is unique, and the approach that I take in tutoring is to always look for innovative and creative ways to make the learning experience more targeted to their particular needs.
