Hola! I'm a graduate of Grinnell College with a BA in Spanish and Linguistics. I have a passion for learning languages and increasing cultural competency. I aim to cultivate strong interests in learning the Spanish language because of all the opportunities and life lessons it brings to a student's life. I have been fluent in Spanish since elementary school through my enrollment in a Spanish immersion program, and have never taken a break from learning Spanish! I have experience tutoring college students from beginners just starting out to 4th years who have already mastered the language. I have spent 5 months living in Santiago, Chile and another 3 months teaching 9th and 10th graders English. I understand that learning a language can be one of the most challenging subjects a student can take, but I also believe it is the most rewarding. I hope to help you or your student on the path to successful language learning through individualized tutoring!
