I fully believe that every student should have equal access to quality and engaging education. I believe that access to a tutor allows a student that extra assistance to help them stick out in the classroom and excel over any academic challenge. After completing my Bachelors of Science in Biology and Psychology with a minor in Biomedical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, I moved to New York City to begin my role as a teacher. For the past year, I have worked as a high school chemistry teacher at an NYC Department of Education public school in the Bronx. I love teaching and helping students find their "ah-ha" moments in both science and math. I know that these are challenging subjects but I know that every student has the ability to be successful given the right practice and support. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Education from Fordham University. Outside of school, I love to stay active outdoors, sing, and see Broadway shows.
