I am a certified teacher dedicated to the learning of my students, no matter their learning experiences. I problem solve using different methods so that I can reach every learning style, and genuinely taking interest in my students' experiences. I am patient, and have experience with students with learning disabilities.
I received my education at Adrian College, getting my Bachelor's in Biology and Secondary Education, as well as successfully minored in psychology. I have one year professional experience and five years clinical experience. I tutor the science, biology, environmental science, life sciences, and earth science. My favorite subject to teach is definitely biology and environmental science, though I teach all of my subjects with equal enthusiasm.
Outside of teaching, I am an avid equestrian and animal lover/caretaker. I have many pets that require my attention, and I have also nurtured wild animals back to health, most recently, a squirrel I found on my college campus. In high school, I was very active in theater. I also sing, and play the violin.
