I am currently a student at the University of Virginia in the College of Arts and Sciences. I am planning on pursuing a major in foreign affairs with a focus on Western Europe. Prior to college, I worked at a job for five years at a hebrew school tutoring kids of all ages. Primarily, I would be helping kids learning to read Hebrew or preparing for their Bar/Bat Mitzvah's. As a tutor at my synagogue, I made it especially important to create a fun learning environment that kids would not dread going to, and even look forward to. While the majority of my tutoring was at my temple, I can tutor a wide variety of subjects. At my high school, I was part of a student-run organization in which I would occasionally conduct free SAT classes to students (where my primary focus was on the math section). In my spare time, when I am not rooting for the Mets, I love watching all sports including playing tennis, frisbee, running, and also a love for the drums.
