I am a graduate of the University at Buffalo. I received a Master of Arts in Biology. While obtaining my degree, I created and ran my own internet website businesses. I also worked as a dental assistant in hopes of one day becoming a dentist. I love helping people and making them smile, especially if they are having a difficult time learning a specific concept or idea. My friends and family always come to me for help with science and math problems because I'm patient, fun, funny, understanding, and know how to explain topics in a wide variety of ways.
My teaching style is unique. I first listen to my students and learn how they like to learn, and memorize new techniques and skills. After learning about my students, I devise strategies to best fit their study habits. I relate problems to what they like (always trying to make learning fun). I give students pointers on how to learn and thrive in an academic setting.
Besides science and math I love sports, music (especially the drums), and cooking. I love all professional sports including football, hockey, basketball, and baseball. I play racquetball once a week and go to the gym daily. I've played the drums and percussion my whole life, and I love cooking for my friends and family.
