I earned my Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Nova Southeastern University. I was distinguished as one of two Outstanding Students for my college's Math, Science, and Technology Division for my graduating class. As President of NSU's Math Club, I organized voluntary tutoring for high school students. I am also experienced in the drafting of research papers spanning a variety of topics from the physical sciences to politics. I have dual passions, carrying a torch for science and art. Both inform each other and innovation happens at their intersection. In my spare time I watercolor paint and play board games with friends and family. I believe learning should feel like discovery. When teachers love what they teach, their enthusiasm is contagious and they are driven to help students understand not only mechanics behind a concept, but also the greater importance of the concept. My favorite subjects to tutor are geography, ecology, high school math, and writing.
