I'm a former geophysicist, money manager, and entrepreneur who found his true calling in teaching mathematics. Math is one of mankind's greatest accomplishments.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Math and Geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines, in Golden, CO.
For the past 7 years I have worked in-person and online with students taking algebra, geometry, trigonometry, AP calculus AB, AP calculus BC, or preparing for the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, or Accuplacer exams.
My tutoring philosophy is quite simply, to engage the student, as opposed to just talking to them. The idea is to get them to do the problems, not me.
Outside of mathematics, I love golf, tennis, and games of skill, like bridge and chess, and my dog, Pi.
