I recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in European History, and I'm currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at Temple University. I love working with children and young adults, and I'm thrilled to be spending some time tutoring this spring.
Last semester, I taught one section of Analytical Reading and Writing to freshmen at Temple. I have experience helping high school students with writing and algebra and middle school students with general homework and study skills. I have also worked one-on-one with several students in West Philadelphia through a student-run program at Penn. In addition, I have two years' experience teaching a Sunday school class at my church and nearly ten years of babysitting experience. While I tutor in a wide range of subjects, I am most passionate about reading, writing, and history.
I am currently the editor of Temple's online literary magazine and the Kelly Writers House Junior Fellow, a position through which I have created and curated several literary events. In my spare time, I enjoy creative writing, reading, yoga, concerts and movies, and spending quality time with close friends.
