I am a graduating senior Communications Studies major in the honors program at Emerson College. At Emerson, I have achieved a 3.97 GPA and joined the prestigious Gold Key Honor Society. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have worked for companies such as Society for American Baseball Research (SABR), NBC Universal, and Red Wagon Entertainment. Recently, an essay I wrote was featured in the textbook Writing: Ten Core Concepts by Robert Yagelski (2014) as an example of exemplary student prose. In my free time, I enjoy reading, following baseball, and watching movies. I have a passion for learning as well as a fervent desire to help others succeed. In particular, I love the English language and the limitless range of expression it affords. It is my firm belief that learning should be an enjoyable experience, and I hope to share my enthusiasm with all students I tutor. I am particularly skilled at teaching public speaking, essay writing, and SAT Writing and Critical Reading preparation.
