I am a senior biomedical engineering undergraduate and chemical biology masters student at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken New Jersey. I have a vested interest in the performing arts, love going to the gym, and hanging out with my fraternity brothers. While at Stevens I have spent a lot of time doing research in cell biology and chemistry, while working for the Academic Support Center, tutoring freshmen and sophomores in a variety of subjects. My favorite subjects include biology and calculus! When I teach, I am very passionate about building a students foundation in a topic. If this is done successfully, the student instantly moves away from trying to memorize facts and is equipped with the skills necessary to achieve a fuller understanding of the subject. One of my many mantras is and always will be:
"Don't memorize..... think, learn, understand."
