I am a senior at UT Arlington studying mechanical engineering and German. I enjoy tutoring German because I have real passion for the language and culture. I enjoy any opportunity to share my passion with others. I have lived, studied, and worked in Germany during my time as an undergraduate. I studied abroad in northern Germany for a semester and participated in an internship with BMW in southern Germany, where I had an opportunity to combine my passion for German and engineering. I have gained an exceptional understanding of mathematical concepts during my time as an engineering undergraduate. I enjoy tutoring math because I can show students how seemingly abstract concepts are used in real life.
I have found the best methods of instruction are adapting to the student. To achieve the best results it is vital to discover what type of learner a student is, whether that be an audio, visual, or kinesthetic learner. I also try to impart my passion, along with my knowledge, to keep the student interested and intrigued in the subject matter. In my free time I enjoy being active and outdoors. I train and compete in Brazilian Jui Jitsu and Triathlons.
