About Me

I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.F.A. in Theatre Design and Production. I currently work in fundraising at the Orlando Fringe. I started tutoring because of my passion for learning and education. I tutored college level Math and History for over two years through the VCU Campus Learning Center. One of the math courses I tutored for was the lowest level of math offered at the university. Many of my tutees were students who disliked math because of their struggles with the subject. I was very successful with these student because I helped them find the relevance in what they were learning. I have worked with a wide range of students including adult learners, students with learning disabilities and ESL students. I have now been tutoring for Varsity Tutors for over three years. What makes me a great tutor is my patience, positivity and passion for seeing my students succeed.
