I graduated from UCLA in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology. Since graduation, I have worked in the field of social services assisting families and students to self sufficiency.I have experience working with various populations, including but not limited to at risk youth, disabled adults, students with IEP, and disrupted families. I have tutored grades K-12 in all subject areas as needed such as Math, English, and Writing. Currently, I am a case manager working with at risk youth in high school, encouraging them stay in school and get to graduation. I assist them by creating individualized goals and monitoring those goals throughout the school year.
I am passionate about working youth and adolescents because I truly believe when students are provided with guidance and the necessary resources to succeed, we will see them excel beyond all expectations.
In my spare time, I enjoy a night in with a movie or a good book, working out, and cooking.
