About Me

I am a recent graduate of the University of Vermont in Burlington. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on American politics. Since my graduation in 2013 I've held several different roles in education, including ESL tutoring, substitute teaching, and I am currently teaching high school math in New York. My knowledge of mathematics comes from an interest in the social science research, a field I pursued in college and may return to in the future. I can also provide tutoring in French at every proficiency level, as I grew up in a French-speaking household in central Maine. My teaching style is relaxed and flexible. I am comfortable adjusting my plans on the fly to suit my students' interests and learning styles. I am a new New Yorker adapting to the city lifestyle. The hustle and bustle is often overwhelming, but I also love the action and special events, and exploring all the different neighborhoods, parks, and restaurants.
