With a BS in Chemical Engineering (U of Maryland), an MBA (U of Delaware), successful experience in business, and a continuing teaching and tutoring career at both the high school and college level, I bring a varied and deep background to support a student. Currently, I am a Professor at two colleges, teaching Marketing, Management, Leadership, Communications to young adults, and mentoring MBA thesis candidates. I tutor technical high school subjects like Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, as well as Writing and English.

My tutoring philosophy is simple: work my way out of a job as quickly as possible. Give the student study skills, tools and confidence to get to their desired level of competence on their own. I don't give answers; we find them together. I try to add realism and practicality to the sometimes dry, theoretical learning experience. There is nothing more satisfying than to see a student's success and progress.
I love music and sing in three groups that entertain at hospitals and nursing homes. I enjoy tennis and golf in sunny Arizona, and poker and watching sports with friends when the sun goes down. My bride of 46 years and I travel extensively for pleasure and to visit our two children and three grandchildren.
