I am a graduate of The Ohio State University. I earned my Bachelor of Arts and Science in Spanish with a minor in Education. Then, I attended the University of Dayton to obtain my teaching license. I currently teach Spanish at a local High School just outside of Columbus, Ohio and am working on completing my Master's degree in Education. I enjoy making lessons hands-on, meaningful, and therefore motivating for my students. I enjoy incorporating social media and popular culture in my lessons when applicable. Further, I believe in the communicative approach to language learning and enjoy using the target language as the means of instruction. In my free time, I enjoy working with horses, playing with my three dogs, and singing in a competitive Women's Barbershop chorus in which I sing Baritone.
