I am a graduate of Touro College where I received my Masters Degree and became certified in General and Special Education. Currently, I work as a Special Education Teacher Support Services (SETSS) teacher. In this position, I collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to promote student development. My duties include providing progress reports and small group instruction for my students on a daily basis. I also set up motivational programs for my students to be carried out during our sessions and in their general education classrooms. By teaming up with parents and teachers, I help each one of my students stay organized and motivated to do well in school. During my small group instruction sessions, I help my students by using games and songs to study pertinent information. I am patient, organized, and have a great amount of experience working with children. I also incorporate Gardners Multiple Intelligences into my sessions to cater to the learning styles of each of my students. I believe that every student can succeed when they are provided with the right tools by a knowledgeable motivator.
