About Me

I am a recent graduate of Providence College, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, with honors. At Providence, I tutored general chemistry to freshmen in the individual and group settings. In my sessions, students used problem-based learning for better understanding of the subject and to strengthen their problem solving skills. I really enjoy helping students tackle this oftentimes challenging subject and grasp difficult concepts. Chemistry is a subject that builds on the previous learned skill, so when necessary, I will always take the time to go back to the fundamentals to make sure the student understands the bigger picture. Since graduating, I have been working as a research assistant on clinical trials at a hospital in Manhattan. In my free time, I like to run long distance, read, bake, and explore the City.
