I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from Western Governors University. I am in the process of obtaining a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction. I have been involved in education since 2007, as a paraprofessional, interventionist, and as a certified teacher. I truly enjoy working with children, and assisting them in gaining the skills that they need in order to be successful. I understand and appreciate that each learner is unique, and has a style of learning that is just as unique as them. I am a strong believer in differentiating instruction to meet the learner, and doing all that I can to find the best way for each student to learn. In my free time I love playing softball, going hiking, reading, working in my garden, and spending time with my family.
