I am a Spanish and English tutor with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with both degrees in December 2011 and am currently applying to graduate school. I love tutoring because it allows me the flexibility and opportunity to share my knowledge and help others understand concepts that were previously inaccessible to them. I love watching the "light bulb" go off when someone understands a difficult concept after working diligently! I tutor English grammar and writing and Spanish (grammar, writing, conversation, reading, pronunciation, etc). I have taught and tutored individuals and small groups ranging in ages from three years old to adults. I am not a native speaker, but I've been asked if I'm from Argentina, Cuba, Spain, and other Spanish speaking countries! To me, this demonstrates that with hard work and dedication, anyone can achieve fluency in a foreign language! I have lived in Spain and traveled to Puerto Rico. I love reading, rollerskating, traveling, mentoring, trying new restaurants, and going to as many concerts as possible.
