About Me

I am in my eleventh year of teaching at a high school in Staten Island, NY. I teach Algebra, Geometry, Finance, and College Algebra. I enjoy working with students who struggle with the basics of math- I like to show struggling students ways to understand various methods of solving problems. I work well with students that have a negative feeling towards mathematics. I try to make learning math fun and enjoyable. I have tutored on and off over the past six years- working with students from grades three through twelve. During my free time I prefer to spend time outdoors- activities include hiking with my dogs, golfing, skiing, riding motorcycles, swimming, gardening, playing tennis, and gardening. I also enjoying knitting and reading books.
