About Me

I am a graduate of Cornell University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, with a focus in Systems Biology. After graduation, I joined a rotational leadership development program which has allowed me the opportunity to expand my knowledge into many industries and functional areas, as well as work with colleagues from around the world. Throughout my life, I have been passionate about learning, and have shared this love for learning through teaching. My first experiences of teaching came early in life, when a teacher recommended that I use my mastery of content and easy way of explaining material to tutor fellow students after school. From those first moments of realizing the enormously positive impact I could have in a student's ability to master content, I have always incorporated teaching into my life. In college, I tutored extensively in fundamental engineering courses, and conducted workshops to further strengthen my students' understanding of the material. Standardized testing is one of my strong suits, and I enjoy helping students advance in their performance in Critical Reading, Math, and Writing. I believe a strong foundation in education is vital for future success. I've had wonderful opportunities because of my strong educational background, and I try to impart this appreciation to all my students. In my spare time, I enjoy teaching dance, playing music, and traveling throughout the US and the rest of the world.
