About Me

Hello,I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. During my time at UGA, I was employed under the Biology Department as a teacher’s assistant for the Principles of Biology course. Each week of the semester I held review sessions and went over the lecture material presented. I was also entrusted with grading exams and classwork. Being a teacher’s assistant not only allowed me to solidify my understanding of various biology concepts, but also made me confident in my teaching abilities. Aside from Biology, I am also passionate about Math, Chemistry and English courses. Throughout college I also worked with a student in SAT preparation and AP Calculus AB. I am confident that my personal experiences taking the ACT, SAT and various AP courses in high school not only helped me teach my student but also relate to him. I understand how demanding AP courses can be and know what it takes to succeed in them. As a tutor, I will not only teach the subject at hand, but also teach students valuable study skills that will continually help them throughout their educations.
