About Me

I have 12 years of teaching experience in the School District of Philadelphia. I have strong communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills. I am resourceful, personable andtechnology savy. I chose a career in education because I enjoy helping others to find success, working hard, and knowing that my efforts are making a difference in the lives of those I teach,I want my students to experience meaningful, interesting learning that applies to their lives. I believe this can be accomplished through the use of hands-on/minds-on activities. I enjoy working one on one with students and I like being able to see their faces light up when they finally get something I teach causing the 'ah ha!' moment.
