About Me

I am a 2011 graduate of Lakeland College with majors in Spanish, Accounting, and International Business. Although my current career path has me focused on Accounting, I truly love the Spanish language! While I was in college, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the Spanish language and the culture of a Spanish-speaking country when I attended a summer program at the "Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara" located in Jalisco, Mexico. I look forward to sharing these experiences with my students that are studying Spanish. When it comes to tutoring, I am very interested in learning styles and I love using creative ways to teach and learn. For example, I think using songs and games are a great way for students to remember information. Taking the time to learn outside of the textbook in these ways can really help students apply information and be successful.
