About Me

My name is Hope. I'm a Physics and Mathematics major, and I have a strong range of experience both tutoring and teaching. I've taught middle school students basic and advanced algebra, geometry, and trigonometry, as well as tutored high school students on Precalculus and Calculus. I have equally strong experience teaching and tutoring all three sections of the SAT. What makes me a great tutor is my ability to empathize with the needs of each of my tutees and help them figure out how they best learn the material. My proficiency in the subject and strong teaching background are two different skills; combined together, they make me an understanding and efficient tutor. In my free time, I love meditating, swimming, and checking out museums (especially MoMA).
