Having been raised in Europe, some of my earliest childhood memories are of yearly family vacations in France. Later, throughout my school years, I participated in an exchange program, where I lived with a French family and went to school in Rennes, Bretagne.
The French language has always held a special delight for me. I completed my university studies in French literature and philosophy. While attending Trinity College I gave private tuition to students.
I have worked in Paris and Canada in bilingual capacites for example, with an international school where I managed private and group classes for individuals of all backgrounds and ages. I teach in a way that is fun and encouraging, while giving students a greater appreciation of the richness of Francophone culture. This is best accomplished through French conversation while still focussing on reading, writing and comprehension. Very quickly, students will be able to converse with confidence and ease.
