I have been teaching for thirteen years, twelve of which have been in Forsyth County. I have taught grades 2, 4, 5 and kindergarten. I have a gifted endorsement and really enjoy challenging my students to find different ways to solve problems and think outside the box as much as they can. I am an avid reader and I believe that the greatest skill any of us learns is reading. I also have an ESOL endorsement and reading endorsement, both of which have given me additional resources and skills to help students learn to read and to love reading.
I am a dedicated teacher who believes the key to teaching students is to instruct them in a way that best matches their learning style. I try to incorporate games, drama and hands on learning into my lessons.
