I am a professional tutor who has more than 6 years of experience tutoring high school, college and graduate students from several backgrounds and schools such as Rutgers New Brunswick, Rutgers Newark, John Hopkins, Rutgers School of Business EMBA program, UMDNJ and Seton Hall. I graduated from Rutgers University in 2011 with a B.A. in Economics. While attending college I participated and won first place in the New York Fed Challenge working together with the Rutgers Newark Fed Challenge Team. I also participated and visited the Federal Reserve System for the national finals. My team work and help made the Rutgers Newark team to win the 4th place on a national level. Besides having excellent research skills, I also have deep knowledge of Science and Math. My qualifications made me a LSAMP scholar in 2010 and my natural abilities for Math have been widely recognized by my classmates, professors and Department Chairman. I am also a member of the International Honor Society in Economics Omicron Delta Epsilon. As a tutor, I have worked at the Rutgers Learning Center where few students are able to work. I have tutored subjects like Econometrics, Statistics, Calculus I, II, III, College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Spanish composition, Spanish grammar and Spanish phonetics. I can also help with standardized tests, including the SAT, SAT Subject Test for Math Level 1 and Level 2, SAT Subject Test in Spanish, ACT, GRE, GMAT and with ESL (TOEFL). I took the SAT in 2008 and I obtained outstanding scores of 770 (98% national) and 800 (SAT Subject Test for Math Level 2). I also obtained a perfect score in the SAT Subject Test for Spanish. Additionally, I am working on becoming a certified actuarial professional and I will do a master's program in actuarial science in 2013. I have passed an examination on probabilistic analysis and another on financial mathematics from the Society of Actuaries. Additionally, I have pretty solid computer and programming skills. I have become a SAS Certified Programmer for SAS recently.
