I graduated from Texas State University with dual degrees in Spanish and Biology. In college, I worked as an Instructional Assistant for Spanish I and II at my university, plus as a high school tutor at a local high school. After college, I earned my teaching certificate for K-12 Spanish and 8-12 Life Sciences, completing my student teaching in 8th grade Spanish II. I have worked as a private tutor for over 5 years now and truly enjoy it! I typically tutor in Spanish or Biology but also have experience in Liberal Arts and Social Studies. To engage my students, I find ways to make the material relevant to their own lives, and make the tutoring experience comfortable and enjoyable. I aim to inspire passion and pride in my students so that they are striving to be better on their own, and I serve as the coach to get them there. When not tutoring, I enjoy being outside, playing sports, and traveling.
