I am very excited to be working as a tutor for the summer and throughout the school year. Currently, I am an 8th grade math teacher at a STEM school and greatly enjoy it. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a focus in mathematics. I am also certified in general education for grades K-6 and in mathematics for grades 7-12.

I am extremely patient, as I am aware it will take weeks to get my students to where I want them to be, and I will have to continually reinforce their behavior all the way through June. Having your procedures firmly in place will make teaching easier and more effective throughout the entire year.

I am currently teaching classes for Kaplan University, Argosy University and onsite at Post University.

I'm certified to teach grades 4-8. I have a middle school teaching certification in CT as well as a Masters Degree in Special Education. I'm able to make any lesson fun, engaging, as well as level and age appropriate.

I am proud to say my student made it on the school honor roll for the first time. I view tutoring as a form of giving back to my community and as a mutual learning experience for me and my student. I am a concentrator in the History of Science which involves the study of the development of knowledge. It is amazing to see how systems and thought evolve. History of Science has been amazing in changing my consideration of what is science and who gets a chance to live in our world which inspired my change to the non-medical path of history of science towards public health.

I am an 8th grade Language Arts teacher with a passion for reading and writing. I love the way reading a novel can pick you up and bring you anywhere. Someplace magical, someplace mysterious. Writing is an outlet used for expression and can be very therapeutic. Finding your creativity is a fun way to get to know yourself better.

I'm currently a 5th grade teacher at a public school in my hometown. I love to make learning fun, because that's how I learn best. And I want that for my students as well. There's joy in learning and even more when you understand how and why things work. I dedicate myself to breaking things down in pieces that I understand and make learning as fun and relatable as possible.
