I am passionate about reading and writing! I'm currently getting my BA is creative writing and working on my fourth novel under the watchful eye of my bull terrier, Wookie. Reading and writing doesn't have to be a challenge! I'm excited to share my passion for learning with my students, and to help make the journey just a little bit easier!

I'm an incoming veterinary student at Colorado State. Before being accepted to the CVMBS, I worked as a tutor at Harry S. Truman College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago, for about a year. I am a Colorado State University student in Mechanical Engineering. I work as a Physics and Calculus tutor on Campus both privately and during office hours. I am also an Engineering Mentor for the Incoming students in Engineering each year. I have experience with courses from chemistry to mathematics and physics. I am in Pi Tau Sigma, the mechanical engineering honor society, and genuinely love the subject matter with which I work.

I am currently spending a year in Boston with City Year Corps where I will be providing individual and small group intervention to at risk students. My subjects of interest are English, Spanish 1, and US History. I strongly believe in the value of a good education and it is my goal to ensure that students not only recieve adequate help, but that they fully understand and enjoy the material that they are learning. In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading, documentaries, and listening to music.
