I'm currently working towards my undergraduate degree in Mathematics while pursuing the pre-medicine track. After school, I plan to become a practicing physician in a non-surgical specialty--likely anesthesiology or radiology. I've previously worked with students from elementary to high school age on subjects in math, writing, and science. I also have teaching experience in speech-related coursework, music theory, and percussion and drum set performance.

I am a Junior Accounting student at SMU motivated to help younger students reach their academic and testing potential, especially when taking the PSAT, SAT and ACT. Students can memorize as much as they wish, but learning requires that teachers find some way of allowing the student to apply what they have learned. In some subjects this is easier to achieve than in others, but in any interaction with a student, I try to make sure that the learning is as engaging and active as possible.
