About Me

With a genuine passion for education and a deep commitment to helping others succeed, I am excited about the opportunity to serve as a tutor. I have been teaching for 3+ years with experience as a first grade and preschool teacher. Some of my favorite things to teach include: reading fluency and comprehension, phonics / phonemic awareness, writing and handwriting skills, kindergarten readiness skills, and ESL. I graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in German. I most recently graduated with a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Ouachita Baptist University. I bring a patient and supportive approach to teaching. My goal is not only to impart knowledge but also to inspire my students to become confident, independent learners. I believe in fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment where each student's unique strengths and challenges are recognized and addressed. As a tutor, I am dedicated to providing personalized attention, innovative strategies, and unwavering encouragement to help my students reach their academic goals and unlock their full potential.
