About Me

I am a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication and Media Studies. Since graduation, I received my Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate and taught English to South Korean elementary school students for two years. While I tutor a range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, Writing, and Grammar. I personally love reading and writing, so I find it very rewarding helping others better their skills in these subjects. For my teaching philosophy and tutoring style, my students in Korea could tell you that I find a lot of joy in creating fun and engaging materials. I believe it is really important to meet students where they are and connect learning with things they already enjoy. In my spare time, I read a lot.
