About Me

I am a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University where I received a Master of Arts in Rhetoric. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing with minors in English Literature and Hispanic Studies from Montana State University. While at CMU, I had an amazing time as a Communication & Language Support Consultant, tutoring students, alumni and faculty. I helped clients with various projects ranging from essay writing, application materials and oral presentations to English-speaking appointments for ESL clients. Though I am interested in a wide range of subjects, my passion lies in English, Literature and Cultural Studies. I have had the most fun and seen the most improvement working with students who struggle with reading/writing. I believe that reading, writing and critical thinking are essential for all walks of life and hope to impart some of that appreciation to my students. Further, I aim to both teach new skills and build confidence by meeting students wherever they are at in their learning journey.
