About Me

I am a graduate of the University of San Francisco, TESOL program. I have a MA is TESOL. Additionally, I'm a two time graduate of Colorado State University, where I obtained a BS in Psychology and a MS in Organizational Leadership. I have taught ESOL and VESL/IET classes both in the U.S. and in Saudi Arabia and Morocco. I'm currently an ESOL Instructor for a community college in the Northwest. In this role, I have taught academic level ESOL classes in reading, writing, listening and speaking, as well as specialized VESL/IET classes that lead to certification, and most recently, a technical writing class for first year students. Moreover, I am currently on a committee that assesses ESOL Scholarships; and finally, a committee that will evaluate incoming writing samples to determine placement in English classes.
