About Me

I'm not in the classroom, tutoring provides me with the opportunity to work in smaller settings with students and focus on their educational goals. My purpose in education is to create engaging lessons so students can make meaningful connections to their lives and the world. I've always been the educator who provides her students with the tools to be open-minded to the world and to ask questions. My students' success in school and outside of school has always been my focus. I enjoy working with students on strengthening their reading comprehension skills, test taking strategies, and writing skills.
