About Me

I am a graduate of Liberty University, holding Magna Cum Laude honors. I received a Masters of Arts in Applied Psychology and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I have over 10 years of experience providing individualized academic support and mentor-ship at NCPS and five years experience tutoring for 21st Century after school program. While I have the ability to tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about stem education. As your tutor, I want to provide a safe and comfortable environment for you to learn, develop high quality study habits, and exceptional organizational skills. My philosophy is based on empowerment and transformational leadership. That is, students learn best when they set their own goals and are provided the tools and confidence to achieve them. It involves assessing motivation, satisfying needs, and treating them with respect.
