About Me
I am a dual graduate of Virginia State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a concentration in Mass Communication Journalism and a Master of Arts Degree in English. I am also a graduate of Regent University with a Master's degree in Cross Categorical Special Education and a focus on Learning Disabilities. I have been in the Education field for 25 years. I began my career as Collegiate Tutor and Substitute teacher while I was in Undergraduate school. From there, I taught Middle School Language Arts (Grades 6 and 8.) I have taught Adult Learners pursuing English as a Second Language. I was a Sylvan Learning Center Instructor, a Homebound Instructor, and an Adjunct Professor. Currently, I am an Elementary School Case Manager and Special Education Teacher I love spending time with my family, crafting, writing, watching movies, and traveling. It is my sincere hope to help my students achieve success and maximize their full learning potential!
