I began my career as Collegiate Tutor and Substitute teacher while I was in Undergraduate school. From there, I taught Middle School Language Arts (Grades 6 and 8.) I have taught Adult Learners pursuing English as a Second Language. I was a Sylvan Learning Center Instructor, a Homebound Instructor, and an Adjunct Professor. Currently, I am an Elementary School Case Manager and Special Education Teacher. This has been my rewarding position for the last 14 years. (I teach Reading, Writing, Math, Study Skills, and Strategies for Social Emotional Learning and Organization.)I truly enjoy working with students of all ages and helping them navigate their learning experience while building their confidence and teaching strategies for academic success and personal growth. I believe that Education opens the doors of success. I love sharing my experiences as both a student, life long learner, and teacher. Building a positive rapport with my students is essential! I enjoy learning from my students just as much as I enjoy teaching. I love spending time with my family, crafting, attending fun events, reading, watching my favorite shows and traveling . In my spare time, I enjoy writing. I am currently working on my 3rd production. It is my sincere hope to continue to help my students provide students with a great learning experience and my passion to help them achieve success and maximize their full potential!
