About Me

I am a graduate of The University of Houston. I received my Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems. Since graduation, I have worked as a Test Engineering Analyst; and I am currently a Math and Special Education Teacher. I have taught in public schools for the past 7 years. I have tutored students, in math, weekly for the past 6 years. I am a certified Math, Science, Reading, and Social Studies. I also hold ESL and Special Education certifications. In my experience helping struggling students close academic learning gaps, I am most excited to see them build confidence and a love of learning as their academic skills develop. I am a firm proponent of education, and I am passionate about helping students reach their highest academic potential through hard-work and perseverance.
