I have also earned Standard K-12 Teaching Certificates in the areas of Special Education, Physical Education, and ELL (English Language Learners). I have years of experience teaching students according to their learning goals, IEPs (Special Education), and gaps in learning (1-2 grade levels behind). I also have years of experience teaching in Public School and clinical settings. I teach according to the learning style of each individual (visual, auditory, kinesthetic). I've always believed that building a good rapport with students and families is necessary to ensure success of a child. "We're all a vital part of this journey together." I like to provide a fun and engaging learning environment, because if a child is not engaged, then learning is not taking place. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that I was able to help a student master a skill that he/she didn't know how to do. I look forward to meeting/working with you soon.
