About Me

Education is something I care deeply about. I received my Bachelors degree in Mathematics, and I've taught math at a variety of different grade levels over the years. I believe it is one of the most valuable subjects a student can learn (however frustrating it may be at times!). Learning math is about more than just finding the area of a circle, or graphing an equation - it's about the process. Math is one of the few subjects that I believe allows students to express their creativity, while also developing the valuable ability to think critically about how they can solve a problem. There's always more than one way to solve a problem, so I like to think there's always a little bit of "you" in every answer - and that's what makes it fun!
