About Me

I am excited to help students gain an understanding of math. I started teaching in 2002. My first job was teaching middle school math. Since then, I have taught everything from preschool to seniors in high school. Since 2005, I have been tutoring elementary subjects and various math topics. I am currently teaching High school Algebra 1, Geometry, and Math Modeling and Reasoning. I have a minor in Math, a BS in Elementary Education, and a Masters of Education in Administration. I chose to teach math because I feel that teaching students how to use math to solve problems is valuable. Tutoring students to become proficient in math literacy is important to me. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
