My teaching philosophy is to meet students where they are at. I believe that each student is unique and that my teaching should cater to their individual needs. I have worked with different level of math students ranging from middle school to graduate level. I especially work well with struggling math students and have a high percentage success rate with them. I graduated from Florida International University with a degree in Business Management. I earned my education credits through Florida Atlantic University, and I received a Master's in Mathematics Education from Nova Southeastern University. In addition to teaching mathematics, I also teach Mindfulness techniques and strategies to at risk middle school and high school students. I am also certified to and currently coaching new and veteran teachers in areas such as classroom management and effective teaching stratagies. In my spare time I enjoy traveling and spending time with loved ones.
