About Me

Through the studies and skills obtained in college and continuing professional development seminars and classes, I have become proficient in classroom management, collaboration, increasing community involvement, integrating technology and focusing on increased parental involvement. By working in a consumer friendly industry for the past five years and through substitute teaching, I have become proficient in communication with faculty, administration, students and parents, and thus distinguishing me from many others. Communication is the key to effective classroom management and students becoming life-long learners. I am able to apply knowledge from the many clubs and student-center activities I have been involved in over the past years to allow my students to instill a sense of worth and thus striving for success. Also, my intense technology background has allowed technology to become an asset in my classrooms, allowing students to see and relate real life experiences to classroom knowledge. With technology expanding and becoming a necessity to the development of well rounded students, I feel as though I will allow my students to rise above and succeed beyond by incorporating technology on a daily basis.
