About Me

Hello my name is Lindsay I am 26 and a new mom. I have my bachelors degree in K-12 Special Education and working on my master in moderate to severe special education. Before becoming a teacher I volunteered and worked as a para in multiple types of special education and general education settings. I have worked as a resource para (push into the classroom and pull out) as well as elementary Severe Special Needs Level 3 and Middle School Alternate Curriculum Program. I have worked with Down syndrome, severe emotional disorder but specialize and love working with kids with ADHD and Autism. My goal is to find growth even in the littlest ways. I believe that every kid can be successful you just have to find what works for them. You also need to find what may never work for them and move on. I love helping kids that need an extra push and helping them succeed.
