I am the climate of my classroom." In practice, I hold it true as I make a promise on day one that my students will always have sunny weather and clear skies in our classroom be it virtual or in person. Knowing that the tone of our classroom starts and ends with my platform manner, my kindness, and my empathy has set my own personal code as an educator. Each of my students is valued, respected, and acknowledged. Holding that knowledge in their hearts has made them eager to learn and excel in the material and curriculum in our class. That has made all the difference in my career.
